ABOUT ME: 

I. MY FAMILY:

I am living with my mother and my older brother in a small makeshift house in the poor countryside. My father left us when my mother was pregnant with me. Then, my mother has been the breadwinner in the house and she alone takes care of my brother and me. My mother is a garment worker and she has to work 12 hours a day to make money for the house expenses and also my brother's and my school fees. Things got harder when my grandfather had a traffic accident a few years ago, causing his mind to be unstable. Therefore, my grandparents have moved to live with us and my mother has to take care of them. My grandmother is also old and weak, so she just helps to do some household chores when my mother goes to work. Now, my mother has to bear the medical expenses for my grandparents. The burden on my mother's shoulders is very heavy and my family is facing many difficulties.

II. MY STUDY:

I am in grade 3 and my brother is in grade 6. I like going to school where I can learn many new things and have a fun time with friends. My favorite subject is Vietnamese. I also like sports, especially jogging. I am a bit worried about my study in the future because I do not know how long my mother can hold on. Please help me keep going to school and have a better life. I am very thankful!
