Love Of Vietnam Expressed

by
 Helping the Poor & Needy

1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

April & May 2020

FIRST,

We would like to give thanks to the Lord for keeping all the L.O.V.E Board in US, L.O.V.E staff in Vietnam,
the leaders of our sister-
organization in Germany, G4kids, all patrons and sponsored children healthy and peaceful during the peak of Covid-19 outbreak in the last months!

SOME UPDATES ON OUR SITUATION:

In April, L.O.V.E office in Da Nang closed for 15 days because of Vietnam’s nationwide social-distancing order. Before those closing days, thank God because He allowed us to be able to arrange and distribute stipends and food support from our sponsors from the US and G4Kids to all sponsored children's families at the office.

During the peak of Covid-19, between March and April, the government did not allow mass gatherings in public areas so we were unable to go to the meeting places at wards or communes to give supports. That is why we had to schedule each child’s family to receive sponsorship and food support at the L.O.V.E office in different times to avoid crowding. You will see a few pictures below.

Now, the epidemic situation in Vietnam is not so serious and seems to be under control. In May, we can go to meeting places to meet and give sponsorship to the children. Vietnam ended the social isolation guidelines on April 22, though restrictions will continue in some high-risk areas. Some restrictions also continue to remain for bars, clubs, spas, theaters, sports centers, and others while the gathering of more than 30 people is prohibited. Restaurants and eateries that operate must comply with strict guidelines from local authorities. Schools in Vietnam, especially in our Da Nang city, are expected to gradually resume classes from May 4.

BELOW ARE SOME CHILDREN’S AND THEIR FAMILY’S PHOTOS WHEN RECEIVING APRIL SPONSORSHIP AND FOOD SUPPORT IN COVID-19 PERIOD

Dear Sponsors, Can you see hidden delights behind masks?

Do you know you are truly a blessing in their life?

Most of our sponsored children’s parents lost their jobs for nearly 2 months and they did not have money to buy food. Just look at their smiles and you'll know what this support really means to them.

A few families who were too far from LOVE's office were also visited and given these supports by our staff.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GRACIOUSNESS TO THE POOR,
DEAR SPONSORS!

MAY MY GOD REPAY YOU FOR YOUR GOOD DEEDs.

We Are Looking For A Helping Hand From You

L.O.V.E needs your Prayers and Donations for FOOD SUPPORT to nearly 100 cases (including about 30 disabled people, 45 elderly and some disadvantaged families) in Hoa Cuong Nam. This is the area near our office and they need food in this difficult time. We have prayed to bring rice, milk and food to them in May or June.

We need your help and donation for this mission.

If you are touched to make a donation towards difficult cases, please help $20/1 basket, please make your tax-deductible ministry gift to "Love Of Vietnam Expressed" and send it to the address below.
Make sure you write on the memo of the check
“For Covid19 - Food Support”

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Prov 31:8-9 NIV)  "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

God bless you for your prayers and financial support for the children!
