1 John 3:16-18 NKJV: By this, we know
love, because
He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down
our lives for the brethren. But whoever has
this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts
up his heart from him, how does the
love of God abide
in him? My little children, let us not love
in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. |

HOA BAC’S CHILDREN
LOVE’s
Vice Director, Ms. Dong, had a meeting with all the
Hoa Bac’s sponsored children and their families at
the ward’s meeting hall in April. Hoa Bac is a
mountainous ward of Hoa Vang district, which lies in
the northwest of Danang city and at a distance of 20
km away from the city center. It has a population of
3,877 inhabitants (in 2010) in an area of
33,846 ha. This is one of the most difficult and
poorest areas in Danang. LOVE/G4kids is now
sponsoring about 10 children in this ward and we
would love to increase this number in the near
future thanks to your kind-hearted support.

VISITING CHILDREN’S HOMES
One of our most important duties every year is
visiting the children’s homes and reevaluating their
situations. Even though there are still many cases
in difficulties and troubles, we are glad and
cheerful to see some families’ living conditions and
living standards have been improved and are better
thanks to the sponsors’ kind help. We highly
appreciate all your work and support for your
sponsored families. Below are some of the photos of
the children’s homes we visited in April.

Thanh Roan’s family is now living in an old, cramped
house of his grandmother's. They don’t even have
enough space for sleeping at night and it gets worse
on terribly hot days in summer.

Sponsors Needed
Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty
who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have
many children who need sponsors.
To see these children or to fill out an application
go to our web site by clicking
child.
Without your help, many of these will not finish
school. For just $30 a month you can see that the
child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by
getting a good education, better food, clothing, and
shelter. For more information about these children
or an application form, you can also contact
Reggie.
Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our
children and put your prayers to work by sharing the
need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic
club, etc.
PLEASE HELP
Share your love and faith
These children urgently need sponsors who will
support a child for $30 a month or the whole family
for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and
encourage them.

A birthday gift is something that some sponsors
never forget. They truly bring blessings to their
own sponsored children. The beautiful smiles of
above kids prove it.

About me:
At present, I am a 10th
grader of Le Qui Don high school, a
school for gifted students. My father, a
taxi driver, is the main labor in the
family, but he is enduring the backbone
spine degeneration and his monthly
income is not so stable. My mother is a
street fish seller but due to the mass
fish death lately in Vietnam central,
she can hardly earn income from
her daily job. Three of us are in school
and it costs my parents a lot of money,
but luckily we are all doing very well
at school in order not to turn their
hearts down. I know my parents are
facing financial issues so I am filling
this application and you’re kindly asked
to help us in this difficult time of my
family so that three of us can finish
our education.
Family members:
-
Ngo Ly Bao (1971) – Father – Taxi
driver
-
Bui Thi Mai (1973) – Mother – Street
fish seller
-
Ngo Uyen Phuong (2003) – Sister – 8th
grader
-
Ngo Mai Bao Anh (2007) – 4th
grader
LOVE’s note:
A family sponsorship is highly
recommended.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)
But when you
give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame,
the blind,
and you
will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be
repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
|
(Prov 31:8-9 NIV) "Speak up for
those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who
are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of
the poor and needy."
|
(Psa
41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the
poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of
trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him
alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You
will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of
illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
