I’m so grateful for the time that I got to spend with L.O.V.E during my two weeks in Viet Nam. Between the lovely staff and receiving the opportunity to see all the different parts of their organization, I was very blessed.  Some of the most enjoyable moments were getting to meet many of the sponsored children and families including the university student that my parents began to sponsor, teaching ESL to the children of Family 3 and Family 4, and spending time with the university students.  I met so many wonderful people and was very excited to see all of the good work that L.O.V.E is doing in and around Da Nang. After working or observing in all the different programs, I was able to grasp a variety of ways that other Americans could come help in Viet Nam. My greatest hope is to start creating more partnerships between the U.S.A and Viet Nam so that we can encourage one another in our faith, exchange skills, and build on the programs doing good work in Da Nang and other areas of Viet Nam.  Thanks!  Meredith

Pray as we will collect school reports from the children this month. Once this is finished and tabulated we will determine their grade level for next school year, purchase text books and uniforms for each child and with family sponsorships, their siblings. We will also send sponsors a progress report.

Also pray as I make plans to move my family to Ardmore, Oklahoma in July. I have been praying about this for more than a year and feel this is the time. Many friends have been encouraging me to do this because of health care concerns as I approach 80 years old. I will continue to direct LOVE’s mission in Vietnam. LOVE has great staff in Vietnam. With Ms. My Dong as head of office, and G4Kids, our sister organization in Europe, all will continue as usual.

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter.
