Love Of Vietnam Expressed

(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV): By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

 Helping the Poor & Needy

Official Newsletter of L.O.V.E.

November 2015

We have so much to be thankful for. We are thankful first of all to God for the opportunity to be here in Vietnam and to see so many children helped and being helped;  to see many of our children finish high school and many others go to college and graduate; to meet our supporters and sponsors through their letters, and many personally when they visit here. I am thankful for the wonderful staff God has provided. Thanks to all of you, you make LOVE what it is. We pray that God will bless you, our supporters, our staff, our board of directors, and most of all our children - past, present and future.

God has blessed me so much here in Vietnam with a wife and two wonderful children that I love so very much. Thank you Jesus for all of the above and much more.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

Share your love and faith

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

About me:   My family is on the list of the poor households of the local government. My mother is a sewing worker but her earning is really not stable and low. My father suffers from gout and other illnesses most of the time so he stays at my grandma’s house to be well taken care of. Thus, my mother is the only earner in my family and she has to raise 3 of us who are in school. My mother raises some chickens and pigs in our garden to earn more income but the cost of our schooling and extra classes are always a big issue for her. We look forward to seeking for some help so 3 of us can stay in school and finish our study.

Family members:

·    Dang Thanh Huyen (1967) – Father – staying at my grandma’s house

·    Huynh Thi Thuy (1977) – Mother

·    Dang Thi Lan Anh (2000) – Sister – 10th grader

·    Dang Ba Tan (2005) – Brother – 5th grader

LOVE’s note: A family sponsorship is highly recommended.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  "But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Luke 19:8-9 NIV)  But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."  Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham."

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
