Love Of Vietnam Expressed

Helping the poor and needy

(1 John 3:16-18 NKJV): By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

Share your love and faith

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $30 a month or the whole family for $50 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

About me:  My family has 8 members. My father works as motorbike fixer, and my mom is a bread seller so our income is not enough to feed us 6 children. Moreover, we are living in a rented house and I have 5 siblings going to school so our situation is difficult. I would be very grateful to receive any help from you.

Family members:

* Nguyen Nang – father

* La Thi Doan Trang – mother

* Nguyen Thi Lien (24/04/1994) – sister

* Nguyen Thi Trinh – sister

* Nguyen Lam Truong (31/05/2000) – brother

* Nguyen Thi Thu Thanh (31/11/2003) – sister

* Nguyen Quoc Hy  (04/07/2008) – brother

LOVE’s note:  This family is very needy. A family sponsorship is recommended or 2 child sponsorships is better. Thuy enters 12th grade next year and will likely have no chance to go to college if not sponsored soon.

(Luke 14:13-14 NIV)  But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, {14} and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

(Luke 19:8-9 NIV)  But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount." {9} Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV)  Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
